The Seismological Observatory of Messina University, in the centenary of the earthquake which destroyed Messina on 28 December 1908, organizes, together with its research partners, a special edition of the International Conference of Applied Geophysics for Engineering.
This Conference will see Messina University heavily committed in the field of applied research, on a significant occasion of comparison with Institutions and the society, aimed at the arrangement of seismic risk mitigation policies.
It’s an onerous task which requires the cooperation of the scientific community with Institutions, whose active participation in the organization of the Conference will represent a further confirmation of their engagement in a sector of great scientific and social relevance.
